Gaibs/ Unknown in Muslim sources

A video of atmospheric lightning, which can be a spectacular source of illumination (i.e. illumination from darkness but according to Islamic teaching to illuminate soul one must believe only one creator Allah and believe in other Gaibs mentioned in the Quran and Hadith and according to instruction of Holy Quran.)

Faiths in few Gaib/unseen is obligatory for each Muslim. Among them Angels, Jinn, Heaven, Hell etc are very important. Few Quotations given below about them from main Islamic sources below:

The Quran also mentions that angels have qualities that may be typified by the word wings:

Praise be to Allah, Who created (out of nothing) the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels, messengers with wings,- two, or three, or four (pairs):…

—Quran, sura 35 (Fatir) ayah 1[12]

He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery. And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire.                                                     (The Noble Qur’an – Ar-Rahmaan 55:15, 15)
And surely, We have created many of the jinns and mankind for Hell. They have hearts wherewith they understand not, they have eyes wherewith they see not, and they have ears wherewith they hear not (the truth). They are like cattle, nay even more astray; those! They are the heedless ones. (The Noble Qur’an – Al-A’raaf 7:179 )

  1. They worked for him what he desired, (making) high rooms, images, basins as large as reservoirs, and (cooking) cauldrons fixed (in their places). “Work you, O family of Dâwud (David), with thanks!” But few of My slaves are grateful.
  2. Then when We decreed death for him [Sulaimân (Solomon)], nothing informed them (jinns) of his death except a little worm of the earth, which kept (slowly) gnawing away at his stick, so when he fell down, the jinns saw clearly that if they had known the unseen, they would not have stayed in the humiliating torment. (The Noble Qur’an – Saba’ 34:13-14)

Allah made all the jinn subservient to the Prophet Sulaimaan (Solomon), a gift from Allah, swt, that will never be granted to another after him.

In Islam, Heaven is understood to be a place of everlasting life.

“Allah hath promised to Believers, men and women, gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein, and beautiful mansions in gardens of everlasting bliss. But the greatest bliss is the good pleasure of Allah. That is the supreme felicity” (9:72).

Allah will fill Hell with jinns and men all together.

“And verily, Hell Is the promised abode For them all!  To it are seven Gates: For each of those Gates Is a (special) class (Of sinners) assigned.  (The Noble Quran, 15:43-44)”

Over it are Nineteen (i.e., guards).  And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, ‘What symbol doth God intend by this?  Thus doth God leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind.  (The Noble Quran, 74:30-31)”
