P R E F A C E

At present in Bangladesh no text book written by the local writer is available on Aeronautical Engineering. Its main reason is very recently few organizations came up to teach Aeronautical engineering in ND, HND(EDEXCEL), Diploma(BTEB)and Bsc Engineering level but their instructors follow foreign texts. Although Defense forces and Bangladesh Biman had their own training facilities yet till date no one came forward to write any book on the subject.

However, I had two books ‘Flying and Defense Forces’ and ‘Expeditions of mankind to the outer space’ were in the market. Many years ago ‘Uddayanar Itihasha’ developed by me in Bengali was published by Bangla Academy. Now none of the above is available in the market. Only ‘Flying and Defense Forces’ is still available in the navigationtalk.word press.com. Visitors are requested to visit the site who are interested on the subject. Other books may be republished soon by Sonali Sopan, Bangla Bazar, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Lessons of this book ‘Aeronautical Engineering’ I developed as learning materials. I thought these may be useful for the students worldwide who are students of Aeronautical/Aircraft Engineering or such disciplines. Considering usefulness for the students worldwide Hamza inspired me to make it an on line book. All the 36 lessons are included in this book. But you are to take pain to read the book lesson wise. In future I may include few more lessons.

Though lessons are short, I hope before opening the text book students will get required idea from this online book. Wish the best of all.
