Other story for imaginery marines

Syed Mohd. Saleh Uddin

All the animals of Sunderbans were looking up. In this sorty Hakko Makko failed to ignore the requests of a crcocodile and a tortoise. The Royal Bengal tiger entered the rocket before. Two other separate rooms for the crocodile and tortoise were used.Few cicadas entered in the Pilot room & other rooms of the rocket of Hakko Makko but he ignored and told them nothing. Unko was telling the story. The story continued, the craft reached near an asteroid. Hakko Makko named it Alamut like a little mountain in hilly Arabia where old man of the mountain once reigned. Its passengers were charmed and thought to land there for food and water. For survival these were required. It was very green one. Hakko Makko felt the urges of his friends specially cicadas because they were hungry.

The craft landed over a valley. There was water flow, around it bushy creepers full of unknown flowers and fruits. They ate and drank and cicadas started singing. Except plantations they saw no other lives. For new foods and drink they felt drowsiness and soon they were in deep sleep. The asteroid Alamut was in its normal course which was much slower than the Hakko Makko’s craft as if one is travelling by a helicopter.

Soon Dr. Shafi’s footsteps were heard. Nadu said what happend then unko? Dr. Shafi’s voice was heard Naaaduuuu. She ran. My job was also half done. I started my scruitiny job. I knew Nadu or Sadu will come again. By this time let Hakko Makko and his travel mates’ sleep.

Cock and bull stories are always liked by the children. Same was with Sadu and Nadu. They were happy with above types of stories. But the time of story tellers and listeners passes soon. I heard Sadia now is married. Now she may be a story teller of her favourite Hakko Makko. Instead of telling now I write. I did not listen about Nadia because now I live far away from them. Most probably she is now a university student. One who used to entertain us with snack in the drawing room of Dr. Shafi is now among the death. Who knows what her sorrow was. The time passed very quickly. I think about me also. Among my Military life of the youth and the present writer life in the project of Dr. Shah A. Rahim either in his office or in his drawing room time seem very less. In between I served in the college about 25 years. I served in the CATECH, NIET and HICA. But this long period now I feel, flew very rapidly and death is knocking at the door.I am in doubt ever Sadia and Nadia will notice it or not. But to you all I will say in practical life you will see joy and sighs too. Take that as part of your life. If possible join the defence forces in your youth to understand the meaning of life. They will teach you manner & what is position in your society and what is your duties and responsibilities. (Please read ‘Tell it to the marines’ is also in this wave site.)
